We searched. Found nothing. So we built it ourselves.

When we were celebrating our own big moments, we were looking for something to make it easier — for us and for our guests. It didn't exist. Today, Lane of Memories is a complete memory tool for weddings, christenings, confirmations, birthdays and all kinds of celebrations.

Started with a question

Why isn't there anything that makes this easier for guests?

The story

It started with a longing.

When we had something to celebrate ourselves, we looked for something to make the day easier — a tool that brought guests together, created memories and captured the moments that otherwise get lost. We found nothing that hit the mark.

So we decided to make it ourselves. Not buy an off-the-shelf system. Build it from scratch.

That means we know every feature, every click and every moment guests experience — because we built it all ourselves.

Song requests connected to Spotify

Guests request songs. The host approves with a click, and the song goes straight to the Spotify playlist. Spotify connects to the album so music can be controlled directly from the same page. Perfect flow, all celebration long.

We are not an event agency that bought an off-the-shelf system. We are the people who built it from scratch. That is why we know every feature, every detail and every click guests make — because we built it all ourselves.

Siv-Helen is the brain behind Lane of Memories. She was the one who saw what was missing, and with a sharp eye for detail and great creativity has developed the concept into the complete memory tool it is today.

With a deep understanding of what guests actually need, she is the architect behind the frictionless experience that makes everything just work — whether celebrating a wedding, christening, confirmation or birthday.

💡 In the interest of fairness it should be noted that the very best ideas actually came during sleepless nights — thanks to Ståle's snoring. So both deserve credit for what was created. She had the visions; he provided the soundtrack that kept her awake long enough to finish them.
